Community guidelines

This page is maintained by FeFe and describes in plain English how we expect people to behave here. The enforceable version of these rules is the acceptable use policy.

Last updated 4 August 2026

Be honest

Answer screening questions truthfully and keep your profile current. Take studies you are genuinely eligible for. Honest data is the whole point of FeFe, and pretending to fit a study wastes a place someone else needed.

Be human

Write your own answers, in your own words. No bots, no scripts, no shared accounts, and no AI generated responses unless a study explicitly allows them. See our AI policy.

Be respectful

Treat researchers and participants with respect. No harassment, discrimination, hate speech or abusive messages. This research area is personal, and people share a lot here.

Respect privacy

Do not try to identify a participant, contact anyone outside the platform, or share another person's information. Researchers must not ask for identifying details beyond what their study said.

Researchers: pay fairly and review fairly

Meet the £6 per hour fair pay floor, state study length honestly, review submissions promptly, and reject only for a real reason such as a wrong completion code, an incomplete study or clearly low effort answers. Rejections must carry a reason.

What happens if you break the rules

  • A warning for a first minor issue.
  • Suspension from taking or launching studies for repeated or serious issues.
  • Account closure and withheld balance for fraud or abuse.

Automated flags are reviewed by a person before any suspension, and you can appeal through our complaints process.
